Virtual visits are one way to reduce the volume of patients with COVID-19 symptoms arriving unexpectedly in the ED or physician’s office. Providers can practice social distancing by screening and treating these patients remotely, and direct them to the safest and most appropriate testing location, such as a drive-thru testing site.
